Clean, green access for all Nigerians.

The Nigerian Clean Energy Access Programme (N-CEAP) was conceived in 2009 by the Concession Development Company (CDC), to fill an important gap in the renewable energy space in Nigeria.

For years, Nigerians have lived under the burden of high living costs, forced to generate their own power to run homes and businesses, thanks to an exceedingly poor supply of electricity throughout the country. Add to that the excessive costs of using high energy-consuming electronics and appliances, such as incandescent light bulbs and air conditioners, and it becomes obvious that an intervention is needed to ease the burden.

N-CEAP comprises, at its simplest, of low energy lighting solutions for the general public.  Over three years, we have distributed over 400 million energy saving bulbs nationwide, representing an 18% drop in power consumption for lighting in every premises.

But more than green light bulbs, N-CEAP has integrated alternative energy systems, including inverters and solar inverter systems, to fight the high cost of power self-generation as well as the many deaths caused by improper fuel storage, carbon monoxide inhalation and much more.

In addition, N-CEAP’s alliance with the Nigerian Ministry of the Environment has led to improved information dissemination and greater education on the benefits of renewable energy systems, for individuals, businesses and the greater community.

N-CEAP uses products of the highest grade from some of the world’s top manufacturers, such as Victron Energy, Must Power and SMA. We push the envelope in delivering green energy solutions every day, striving to add value to Nigerian lives, and providing high-quality products and excellent services to all our customers.
